Permanent Eyebrows

Permanent Eyebrows

The permanent eyebrow procedure can be done with 2 techniques:

AMIEA ( Machine technique )

The difference between the Machine and Microblading

Microblading is also permanent make-up, it is just more natural and will only last 1 -3 years. It is not suitable for all skin types.

Having your brows done with the AMIEA Machine, will provide a more defined and bold look , and the end result will also last longer, compared to Microblading.

Will you benefit from permanent make-up on your eyebrows?

Eyebrows can change your whole face! This is a feature that has to be enhanced. Full eyebrows are youthful and make your eyes stand out even more.  As we get older, our eyebrows get thinner and a lot lighter. With Permanent Make-up and LiLash we can fix that instantly.

Ask yourself the following questions:

Are you eyebrow challenged and left with no arch?
Do you have sparse eyebrows due to a medical condition or over tweezing?
Do your pencilled brows come out uneven or wear off during the day?
Do you have more pencil stripes on your glasses than on your eyebrows after drawing in?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then permanent cosmetic eyebrows are perfect for you!

Permanent Eyebrows

1How long does it take?

First session will take minimum 2 hours - consultation and client card needs to be done.

Touch up will take 1.5 hours.

2How long does it take to heal?

You can return to your normal daily activities straight after your session. The area will appear darker straight after the procedure. True colour will only be seen when the scabs are off and the area has healed. Healing is anything from 3-5 days

3Do you remove or shave the eyebrow hair before doing the procedure?

No. We only remove the hairs outside the brow line.

4Is a touch up necessary?

Yes! The best way that I can explain it - “ permanent make-up is similar to painting a wall. After the first layer of paint has dried , the colour is still uneven and patchy, after a second coat, the colour and consistency is even and the colour has build up. It is the same with permanent make-up.

Certain areas may not pick up during the first session. During the touch up procedure you refine the brows - maybe going darker, thicker, longer. An oily skin often fades quicker as the oil tend to lighten the pigment.

5Is it painful?

We use very good local anesthetic. We try and make the experience as comfortable as possible for the client. Most clients find that the actual plucking of the eyebrow hair is more painful than the actual procedure.

6How long does it last?

Having your eyebrows done with the AMIEA machine, will give you a longer lasting end result.

The end result will last anything from 3-5 years, depending on the skin type (oily, dry, normal).

Skincare routine will also affect how fast the area will fade. Avoid Retin A products over the area.

7Prior to procedure?

Avoid sun and sunbeds. Clients may come with her normal brow make-up on so we can see what you are used to. We recommend that clients wash their hair on the day before their appointment, because you do not want to get water over the treated area for 72 hours after your procedure.

8After the procedure?

After care with instructions will be explained to the client on the day of the procedure.

No water over the treated area for 72 hours. We do not recommend exercising for 3 days, if it involves excessive sweating - hygiene purposes.

9Who is not suitable ?
  • If you are using Accutane
  • If you are a diabetic , type 1
  • Certain types of medication that causes the skin to thin out, or thins the blood.
  • If you had Botox done in the last 10 days
  • If you are pregnant , you will have to get a written consent from your doctor - we use local anesthetics.

For permanent make up we do offer a 15 minutes free of charge consultation.

The consultation is especially for clients who are uncertain whether they would like the procedure done and if the client would like to discuss her options. After this consultation the client can decide whether she would like to schedule another appointment for the procedure, or to consider another option.

We do have a 48 hour cancellation Policy. If you must cancel an appointment, please call at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a 50% fee of your booked treatment cost. You as the client is responsible for this fee.
